OPERATING MODES

THE RIGHT FUNNEL SIZE
Did you know that it is not breast size, but nipple size that determines whether a breast pump is the right fit? When you choose the VENUS breast pump, you can be almost 100 per cent certain that it will be perfect for you. Why?
We’ve included no fewer than 5 funnel sizes in the set: a standard size – 27 mm – and 4 adapters – 15/18/21/24 mm. This allows you to choose the right funnel size for your nipple.
How do you choose the right funnel?
Measure the diameter of your nipple at its base in millimetres, excluding the areola.
If the nipple diameter is 11–13 mm, choose the 15 mm funnel; if it is 14–16 mm, choose the 18 mm funnel.
For a nipple measuring 17–18 mm, a 21 mm funnel is recommended, and for 19–21 mm, a 24 mm funnel.
For a larger nipple, 23–25 mm, a 27 mm funnel will be suitable.
The measuring tape included in the set will help you choose the right size.
